Katja hat Nuri, einen türkisch-kurdisch stämmiegn Mann, in ihrer Studiezeit als Haschischverkäufer kennen gelernt. Er kam ins Gefängnis, hat dort BWL studiert und Katja geheiratet.Ihr Sohn ist inzwischen 5 Jahre alt, die Familie führt ein normales, glückliches Leben. Als Katja am Abend beide abholen will, sit eine Nagelbombe vor Nuris Büro explodiert. Beide sind tot, Katja erinnert sich eine Frau, die ein Fahrrad mit einem Koffer abgestellt hat, als sie ihren Sohn bei Nuri abgesetzt hat. In dem Koffer war die Bombe. Katja schliesst einen auslaenderfeindlichen Hintergrund nicht aus. Aufgrund der Vergangenheit ermittelt die Polizei aber im ehemaligen Milieu von Nuri. Bis ein Nazi-Ehepaar verhaftet wird. Katja kann die Frau mit dem Fahrrad identifizieren. Es kommt zum Gerichtsverfahren. Dem Verteidiger belingt es jedoch, durch juristische Finesse und Falsaussagen, dass das Terrorpaar freigesprochen werden muss. Nun gibt es für Katja kein Halten mehr, sie will Rache!
