Walter Michler (text) and Guenay Ulutuncok (photos) have produced this report on Africa's children. The world they depict is not intact, despite all the cheerfulness, the beauty and the courage to face life they have encountered .Violence ,underdevelopment and political crises are a danger to life ,as is the indifference we are guilty of. But there is hope in this book too ,nourished by the courage and the energy of the people in Africa. Positive examples like those of SOS Children Village are also encouraging : they help to come resignation and to secure the future.
