Die vom Leben gezeichnete, vereinsamte Frau zieht von München nach Berlin ,um ,,neu anzufangen". Die Begegnungen mit alten Freunden und Kollegen aus der ehemaligen DDR werden für Hanna jedoch zu schmerzvoll-ernüchternden Erfahrungen - niemand scheint sich mehr für die alten Ideale zu interessieren. Desillusioniert und finanziell ruiniert ,kehrt sie nach München züruck. Schließlich sieht sie nur noch einen Weg, um ihren Depressionen und Ängsten zu entfliehen.
