Summary, etc. Ausgestattet mit einer gewissen Unverfrorenheit macht sich der skrupellose, unsympathische und ehrgeizeige Journalist Sebastian Zöllner auf in die Schweizer Alpen. Er will einen großen Coup landen, seinen Konkurrenten zuvor kommen und ein Enthüllungsbuch über den berühmten ,alten und erblindeten Maler Manuel Kaminski schreiben. Er sucht ihn dessen Haus auf ,in dem dieser quasi entmündigt lebt und von seiner Tochter Miriam eifersüchtig bewacht wird. Zöllner drängt sich auf ,dringt in Kaminski's Privatsphäre ein , stielht sogar unveröffentliche Bilder. Als er herausbekommt ,dass Kaminskis tot geglaubte Jugendliebe Therese noch lebt ,bricht er mit dem alten Mann zu einer Odyssee dorthin auf. Auto ,Manuskript ,bilder werden gestohlen .Die Reise gerät Zöllner zunehmend aus dem Ruder und Kaminski erweist sich als weniger blind und hilflos ,als Zöllner gedacht hat.
