Summary, etc. Die Pilotin Marion hat ihr Leben eigentlich im Griff, vor allem auch weil sie gut darin ist, Gefühle von sich fernzuhalten. Als bei ihr Krebs diagnostiziert wird, erzählt sie daher nicht einmal ihrem Lebensgefährten davon, Stattdessen reist sie in die Türkei, wo sie Baran, einen wesentlichen jüngeren Türken kennenlernt, der seinen Lebesnunterhalt unter anderem damit bestreitet, sich für Touristinnen zu prostituieren. Unerwartet und spontan entscheidet sich Marion dafür, mit Baran eine Scheiehe einzugehen, um ihm ein besseres leben in Deutschland zu ermöglichen. Was zunächst als selbstlose gute Tat erscheint, legt aber schon bald as Seelen- und Gefühlsleben der unterkühlten Marion offen und es zeigt sich, dass sich trotz ihrer sehr unterschiedlichen Lebenswelten hier zwei Menschen auf Augenhöhe begegnen. Nicht zuletzt diese Erkenntis bringt eine neue, ungeahnte Dynamik in die Beziehung der beiden.
