| Summary, etc. | Sommer 1989 im osteb Deutschlands : Adam arbeitet als Schneider und Fotograf, sien Freundin Evelyn ist Kellnerin. Ihren Urlaub wollen die beiden am Balaton verbringen. Nun lieben die Frauen Adams schöne Kleider und manchmal auch ihn. Als Evelyn Adam mit einer anderen erwischt, fährt sie ohne ihn mit einer Freundin und deren Westcousin nach Ungarn. Um die Beziehung zu retten, steigt Adam in seinen betagten Wartburg und reist hinterher. Als Ungarn unerwartet die Grenzen nach Österreich öffnet, wird die Flucht in den Westen zur ungeahten Möglichkeit. Zwischen gelebten Träumen und der Sehnsucht nach einem unbekannten Paradies steht beiden alles offen; Evelyn spürt Hoffnung, Adam sieht einem Neunanfang mit wenig Begeisterung entgegen. Sie müssen sich entscheiden. |
