Als Marx dem jungen Friedrich Engels vorgestellt wird ,hat der notorisch bankrotte Familienvater für den gestriegelten Sohn eines Fabrikbesitzers nur Verachtung übrig .Doch der dandy Engels hat gerdae über die Verelendung des englischen Proletariats geschreiben. Es ist genau das, was Marx zu einer klaren Beschreibung der Krise noch fehlt . Beide haben ein gemeinsames Ziel : sie wollen nicht mehr nur Theorie ,sondern Wirklichkeit ,sie wollen den massen ein neues Bild der Gesellschaft geben. Doch dafür müssen sie die Arbeiterwerbewebung hinter sich bringen - nicht so leicht ,denn mit ihrer jugendlichen Anmaßung stoßen aie so manchen gestandenen Revolutionär vo rden Kopf.
